Posted by Mimi » add a commentI began taking vocal lessons again and I was asked by June McCullugh, my vocal coach and manager to learn the song ‘Alleluia’ ~ I had never before heard the name Cecilia Bartoli, but I am amazed by her technique. I am wondering if she is breathing in while singing…because her vocal style is similar to a friend of mine in the North who sings while breathing in as well as breathing out. I know there is a name for the technique. So though I still adore Steve Perry’s voice, she is my new favorite singer.
